Lizz Westman is a writer and Web producer with more than 10 years experience managing content and for a bevy of media, entertainment and comedy sites. She excels under stress and can see a project from conception to completion.
Lizz began her career in New York City, where she reviewed television and film as both a critic and as a freelance writer for Gist TV, AOL’s Moviefone, the Comedy Lab and a myriad of other, now-defunct dotcoms.

She’s also reported on The Emmys, The Grammys, skateboarding bulldogs, wedding fashions, the latest in gaming technology, technology conventions and the 2008 presidential campaign. Utilizing social networking sites and news aggregators, Lizz excelled at getting local stories picked up nationally. Her headlines and work have been seen on Fark, Drudge, Best Week Ever and even humorist Dave Barry’s column – just to name a few. While at CBS, Lizz also worked as the lead overnight national producer, breaking the latest in national news stories for all of CBS’ owned and operated sites.
